To Make a Donation

  1. To mail your donation:
     
    1. Download and complete the single donation form or the multiple donation cover sheet and form. *
    2. Make your check payable to  "Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc." and note "Veterinary Memorial Fund - Account #883001" on your check memo line.
    3. Mail your donation to:

      Veterinary Memorial Fund
      College of Veterinary Medicine (0442)
      Virginia Tech
      Blacksburg,VA 24061
       
    4. The owner will receive a letter of condolence from the Dean of the College noting your gift and you will receive an acknowledgement confirming your gift.
  2. To give on line:
     
    1. Go to the Virginia Tech On-Line Giving page. (This page will open in a new browser window so you may refer back to these instructions by minimizing the giving window.)
    2. In the "Gift Information" section, use the pull down menu next to the designation amount field to select the College of Veterinary Medicine.
    3. Use the Comments section at the bottom of the on-line giving page to specify "Veterinary Memorial Fund - Account #883001" and to enter the pet and owner information. The pet and owner information should be entered as follows:
      pet name, pet species, owner name, owner address, city, state, zip, donation amount
      The donation amount is only required for multiple donations. For families, please use the principle adults full name rather than just the last name, for example "Robert C. Smith Family" rather than just "Smith Family". 
    4. The owner will receive a letter of condolence from the Dean of the College noting your gift and you will receive an acknowledgement confirming your gift.

Veterinary Memorial Fund bronze statue
The unveiling of the Veterinary
Memorial Fund bronze statue
was held in the Fall of 2005.
The statue is situated on a
Hokie-stone pedestal in the
entrance lobby of the college’s
Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
