First meeting of the semester

  Come out and hear what CVF is all about!

Potluck dinner

• September 12, TBA, Dr. Sponenberg’s house!
  A CVF tradition! Bring some food, eat some food, fellowship, and have a great time!

Weekly Bible study

• Every Wednesday, 12 noon, room 228 (above the library)
  Come study the Bible and learn who Jesus is!

Weekly prayer meeting

• Every Thursday, 7:40am, admissions couches
  Submit prayer requests via email (amp@vt.edu) or on our shadow box outside the library

Bible Study

WHO:	Anyone! Our weekly Bible study is open to everyone, no matter where you are in your spiritual walk. We also welcome members of other faiths to join us as we learn about who Jesus is from the Gospel of John.
WHAT:	We are going to be studying the Gospel of John for the fall 2008 semester. We are using the Life Change Series study by NavPress as a guide. While not required for participation in the weekly Bible, you are encouraged to purchase a copy of this book for yourself to read and study along. It can be purchased from Christian Book Distributors for $8, plus shipping.
WHEN:	Every Wednesday at 12 noon
WHERE:	Room 228, above the library - Leaving the library, cross the hallway and take the stairs to the left of room 100 up one flight. Make a right and go through the door at the end of the lockers. Room 228 will then be on your left through that door, directly across from the elevator.
HOW:	By the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
