21st Annual Research Symposium
November 20, 2009

The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its twenty-first Annual Research Symposium on Friday, November 20, 2009. The event will showcase VMRCVM student and faculty research and will feature a keynote speaker.

The symposium is sponsored by Pfizer and the Office of Research & Graduate Studies.

Nov 19   Poster/Project paper set-up in designated areas in the College Commons
Nov 20 7:30 - 8:00 Registration
  8:00 - 8:15 Welcome and Introduction to Symposium
  8:15 - 10:00 1st session of oral presentations by students in their last year (15 minute slots)
  10:00 - 11:00 Break & 1st session of student poster presentations
  11:00 - 12:00 Keynote speaker – Pfizer Animal Health Award For Research Excellence Recipient
  12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
  1:00 - 2:30 2nd session of oral presentations by students in their last year (15 minute slots)
  2:30 - 3:30 Break & 2nd session of student poster presentations
  3:30 - 5:00 3rd session of oral presentations by students in their last year (15 minute slots)
  6:30 Dinner and Presentation of Awards at Blacksburg Country Club
