Brief Bio

I am interested in conservation management of endangered species through the use of bioinformatics, microbiological, and behavioral ecological studies. I strongly feel that a holistic approach to conducting research is key to determine ecological problems and their subsequent solutions. I spend my time as a snowboarder, hiker, triathlete, and a listener of all types of music.

Research Project Involvement

  • Collecting data using non-invasive methods (thermal imaging, observation, and fecal cortisol measurements) on baseline physiological status with subsequent analysis using gel electrophoresis
  • The Impacts of research and tourism on the health of the chimpanzee populations of the Rubondo Island and Mahale Mountain National Parks of Tanzania
